HAUNTED DESTINATION New film from local filmmaker Taylor Guterson (Thursday Oct. 22nd @7pm)
About this event

The new film from local filmmaker Taylor Guterson screens one night only at the North Bend Theatre for free!

When strange stories and unexplained incidents begin piling up around North Bend, the town sees an opportunity to reinvent itself as a haunted destination, launching a publicity stunt designed to put the little mountain town on the map. The mayor embraces the idea, while the sheriff remains convinced it is a terrible idea. To help sell the story, the city brings in a team of paranormal investigators to document the town's supposed activity, but what begins as a promotional stunt takes an unsettling turn when one of the investigators disappears. As the mystery unfolds, the story reaches back to Moncton, the settlement that once stood where the waters of Rattlesnake Lake are today, and the people who lost their homes, their community, and their lives when the town was flooded as part of Seattle's effort to secure its water supply. Years later, a young girl becomes fascinated by the legend and, for a school project, travels with her father to Seattle to meet one of the surviving investigators and uncover what really happened

Doors open 1 hour before showtime.
