This event features a pre-show presentation from one of the stars of the film, Mike Hattrup!
Film Synopsis: The Blizzard of Aahhh’s is a rockumentary style look at the ski world in 1988. Before this film extreme skiing existed in small pockets around the world. But after Blizzard Of Aahhh’s the ski world changed. This is Greg Stump’s legendary movie that put him and, ultimately, the sport of what was then extreme skiing (now Big Mountain Skiing) on the map. The film features Scot Schmidt, Glen Plake and Mike Hattrup. This movie contains some of the best ski action ever filmed in the world at the time. From France’s awe inspiring Chamonix Valley, Telluride, Colorado, Snowbird, Utah and California’s Squaw Valley. The film is considered by many the best ski movie ever made and arguably the catalyst which began the extreme sports movement.
