Kicking off our celebration of the 34th Anniversary of the premiere of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, we have a special DOUBLE R DOUBLE FEATURE! Two films all about everyone’s favorite diner. “FROM THOMPSON’S TO TWEDE’S: The History of North Bend, WA’s Mar-T Cafe Parts 1 and 2” A Film by Jared Lyon and Brian Kursar. Before it became the Double R Diner, it was the heart of a small Washington town. Presented back-to-back, Parts One and Two begin a five-part journey through the real people, community, and history behind one of television’s most beloved locations. “THE DOUBLE R DREAM” follows filmmaker and author Scott Ryan’s 6 days of working at Twedes Cafe. The 45 minute film stars the staff of Twedes and contains interviews with several Twin Peaks community legends. It is a very funny film with lots of heart.
